What we do

Picture
The cafe
Our main work is through the cafe space. The food is offered on a Pay-As-You-Feel (PAYF) basis meaning people pay what they think the food is worth, donate whatever amount they can afford or even volunteer their time and skills to pay for a meal - all have their value.
In this way, the café is a place for everyone. We think everyone should have access to healthy food and a friendly environment in which to enjoy it.

Sharing skills
We want to inspire people to reduce food waste in their own homes and learn how to get the most out of shopping on a budget. In this way, not only can we empower and educate people within the community to reduce their own food waste but also help to destigmatise intercepted food.

Outside catering
Our intercepted food can also be used to make delicious events food. If you're looking for caterers with a difference, want to make your event a more environmentally-friendly affair, or you simply just like the sound of our food then please do get in touch.

Community space
Local groups and organisations are welcome to use our space for activities, workshops, support groups, book clubs and much more. If you're interested in hiring our space for an event, please visit our contact page.

Our workshop
We operate a weekly pop up shop from our workshop in Spittal (Meantime Workshops, North Greenwich Road, Spittal)
This is every week on a Saturday from 12 til 4pm.
